11\u00bd years ago, I wandered into LSM and took two pictures:<\/span><\/p>\n

Jump ahead to two weeks ago. I had a prescription to pick up at a pharmacy on the main drag in Teaneck (Cedar Lane).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019ll be ready in 15 minutes\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll take a walk\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

I grew up a couple of blocks away and Cedar Lane was my life: I hung out with my friends there, I worked in an ice cream\/soda shop AND a bowling alley (pinboy!……..ouch!) and saw 90 bazillion movies there at the Teaneck Theater.<\/span><\/p>\n

Taking a walk there now is always an education because almost nothing is familiar. \u201cOh, wait\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026there\u2019s Lark Street Music! Haven\u2019t been in there in over a decade, so let\u2019s check it out.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

I recognized the owner, but had forgotten his name (It\u2019s \u201cBuzzy Levine\u201d\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.thank you, Google).<\/span><\/p>\n

For a skinny store, there seems to be about 10 times as many guitars and other stringed instruments on the walls than I recalled.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMore guitars than you can shake a pick at\u201d should be its motto (just came up with that one).<\/span><\/p>\n

I told Buzzy about my previous visit and asked if I could take some pictures again.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOK\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

I whipped out my phone and went to town. I had to work fast and needed to take mostly wide, panoramic shots to save time. All but one of the following shots are PANOs, so be sure to click them once or twice to see the images fully-enlarged.<\/span><\/p>\n

When I got outside and crossed Cedar Lane, I saw FIVE school buses parked from the Teaneck Theater to down past LSM!<\/span><\/p>\n

And, YES – the prescription was now ready.<\/span><\/p>\n
